How do you get kids to incorporate fiber into their diets and like it? After trying Fiber One Chewy bars with mine, i'd definitely say that this is a great way! Available in chocolate and Peanut Butter and Jelly flavors, this is something I feel pretty confident saying that most children are going to love.

There is no high fructose corn syrup, and they contain only 7 or 8 grams of sugar, again depending upon the variety.

I Woulda Never Thunk This Would Be Possible!

I just watched a video that I received a link to in an email from Rubbermaid and I must say that I am completely impressed! One of the most grotesque things to me is when the toilet is stopped up and has to be plunged out. Well when you pull that plunger out, there's disgusting-ness just a dripping. Don't you hate that? Well if so, prepare to have yourself amazed. I mean, this seriously has me feeling some sense of relief...

Giveaway: Nuk Mash and Serve Bowl. Prepare Baby Food at Home.

Not very long ago, I started my baby on table foods. Back in the past, when I was a new mom, i'd easily just grab and go for whatever sounded like it would be good for the baby and good to the baby as a desert reward for eating his food. As time went on, I began to hear the occasional this and that about what's in jarred baby food, which I found to be a cause for concern. The more I hear, the easier it is to walk past that baby food and just turn to foods that can be prepared and fed to my baby in the convenience of my own home. At least since i'm preparing these foods, I know exactly what's going into these foods and therefore what's nourishing my baby.
With the Nuk Mash and Serve Bowl, it's simple and convenient to mash fruits and steamed veggies, not only in the comfort of your own home, but this simple design makes it easy to prepare foods for baby even on the go. I appreciate that it's BPA free, which is a big deal to me. It's designed for babies starting at age 6 months, which is the recommended time to start baby on solids, all the way up to 36 months. I like the durable feel to it and I also captured a couple of pics to share the thoughtful design that went into making this bowl. This design makes it even easier to really get foods mashed well.

I also wanted to add that recipes are available to get you going. For more information on this and other products available to make the transition to solids easy, check out the Fresh Foods Prep page on the Nuk website. You can also keep up with Nuk via their Facebook and Twitter accounts.

What's New: Honey Bunches of Oats

Ok, so maybe this cereal is not new, but there is something new. More clusters. That's pretty much it, but to me that was great news, because that's one of my favorite components of this cereal. Maybe it was just that it had been a while since we had some around, or maybe it was indeed the addition of more clusters, or perhaps the flavor was redone, but they honestly seem to taste even better than what they did in the past.

With only 6 grams of sugar per serving, Honey Bunches of Oats has the perfect amount of sweetness, definitely not overdone. What's more is that it contains 10 grams of whole grains which include wheat, oat, corn and rice. Since it contains 0 grams of trans fat, 0 grams of saturated fat and 0 milligrams of cholesterol, it's heart healthy.

With 9 essential vitamins and minerals, Honey Bunches of Oats is something you can feel good about eating and feeding your family. To find out more about Honey Bunches of Oats, be sure to check out their Facebook Page. Also, stay tuned for a giveaway where you can win a free product coupon to try it for yourself.
